In this training session, I'll be giving you a very unique insight into the examiners' mindset, and demystifying the check profile - showing you what items we need to cover in the pre-sim briefing, clarifying the flying accuracy limits that must be met, and what the examiner can and can't do during the check - plus much more.  By gaining this very unique insight, we can give ourselves the best opportunity to excel in our next check.

In this training session, we'll enhance our on ground emergency decision making by first understanding what actually constitutes an on ground emergency, discussing common mistakes made by crews, and then exploring strategies which we can practically use to optimise our decision making process.  This will be followed by a demonstration, to show you an example in real-time.

Weather radar is an essential tool - so critical, that if it’s unserviceable the aircraft is typically grounded.  But even with this invaluable equipment, incorrect use can lead to poor situation awareness and potential safety risks.

In this training session, I’ll be highlighting the common mistakes that I frequently observe, and sharing practical tips to optimise your weather radar usage.  You’ll walk away with actionable insights to enhance your situation awareness, and improve your overall safety margins.

Flying passengers around the world can be a real pleasure, particularly at any time of the year when we're taking people on holiday or reuniting loved ones.

But occasionally, one or two of those passengers can create problems that we have to deal with.

In this training session, we'll explore a variety of reasons why passengers become disruptive, and the way in which we and the cabin crew handle the situation, which can have a profound impact on the outcome.
